Fees

Appointment Fees

Appointment fees are based on length and complexity of appointments and are at the discretion of the treating practitioner. For Medicare card holders a rebate is available that covers part of the cost. Procedures such as removal of sunspots, ECG’s, breathing tests, allergy tests etc will carry additional charges which are also partly refunded by Medicare. Details of our consultation rates are available from reception.

Bulk Billing Doctors

We run a private practice but also offer bulk billing with specified doctors only. This is only available to full-time students who can provide student identification.

Medicare Rebate

Patients covered by Medicare will receive the rebate directly from Medicare Australia either deposited directly into their bank account or receive a cheque by post.

Private Pathology

Patients with a Medicare card will be bulk-billed pathology. Patients without a Medicare card who require pathology tests are required to pay for this service.

Repeat prescriptions

Repeat scripts may be issued to patients either during a consultation or following a phone request, depending on what is appropriate.

Cancellation Fee

Please be advised that it is a Uclinic policy that any appointments that are missed or cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the visit will be charged in full.

Payment Method

Major credit cards and EFTPOS are accepted (excluding JCB/ Diners Club)

Also, if you see one of our allied health practitioners registered with your private health fund, we are able process your private health fund claims on the spot using the HICAPS system, leaving you to pay only the gap.
